Thank you for personally delivering the thumbdrive to my office. And thank you for showing your strength and resillenc during the KK trip. You were an inspiration to many… or at least to me.

I hope that you will remember the help you received from your friends to get you to the summit. And extend the same help to those around you. I know you will. Because you have a big hard =)

Well, I still remember those who helped me and I will definitely extend my helping hand to those who need it. Like what Uncle Kwok was saying.. We are our strongest at our weakest link. Yeap. It’s the little things that makes all of us join forces.

Well Well. Candy trying to make change to her life once again. Yes. Sudden realisation in the train this morning that my life is pretty messy now in the sense that I didn’t plan my stuff properly. Basically just my time management. My mind was running when I’m on the MRT just now and my playlist played the song “Man in the Mirror” Instantly reminded me of the LEAP Foundation Camp (AND ALSo MY UNDONE WORK ><)

Anyways.. pass few days I'm pretty happy. It's Chinese New Year and I was enjoying myself. Not only the food, I get to go visiting. It's interesting to gather at my grandaunts and granduncle's place.

Still dreaming about holidays and stuff. Time to get serious and start studying for upcoming tests.

On the eve of chinese new year and im munching on the goodies already. Sure will grow fat. =x

I just had reunion lunch with my paternal grandparents. Well, its nothing new about eating steamboat, but my third uncle is here today. He’s usually the rare guest. Im serious. I mean like i only get to see his whole family over here maybe once or twice at most a year. Its funny how all of us will gather here every now and then and they never fail to not turn up. I mean putting all our birthdays aside, at least when its my grandparents’ birthday you have to make it a point to come down.

And its not as though my grandma house have maid. Like seriously, finish eating just dump all the bowls there. I washed them cause i wont want to leave it till my aunt come and wash. She did enough to prepare the food. Moreover its not her duty to help them do their dishes. The last straw came when they left without sayinb goodbye. Like seriously?! Basic courtesy. First they came late and then didnt even greet us. At least call jiejie or something. Jitao just dao everyone.

Seriously spoil my mood. They only turn to us when they need help. Gosh. We arent obligated to help you. When you dont need our help, dont even see the sight of you. =.=

Here is something that mummy and ahma will make every year. This year helpedy mum quite a bit when she was making this.

Its nice ^^ thats something my house will run out pretty fast. Maybe behing bah kuah.

Yesterday was dear’s Birthday!
Another year older!
Was jokingly saying..
He old liao still must have energy to entertain me.

We caught two movies yesterday.
I not Naughty and Dance Dance Dragon.

I got to say the story line of I not Naughty is awesome.
Well.. Jack Neo’s movie have always been reflecting factual scenes that are happening in Singapore.
This time round, quite a few aspects were included like cyber bullying, gambling, gangs and how the students from the “not so good” polys are deemed as.

The most touching part would be the part whereby the two guys helped their Shimu to deliver the baby. As much as they are terrified, they have to do it. And that’s also when they understand how painful child delivery is. The many times when they broke the hearts of their mother. They reflect back and realize that the things that they do weren’t right at all.

Well, I guess another worth mentioning point is that those kids who join gangs and stuff aren’t necessarily bad. Chinese’s san zi jing has this sentence, ” ren zhi chu, xing ben shan” It just goes to say that everyone’s nature at the beginning is good. It’s just the environmental factor, the people factor that shaped them to who they’ve become. Just like how the teacher in the show did, he goes the extra mile to help his two students and it yielded results. Perhaps not everytime it’ll work, but at least he tried.

The second storyline isn’t that bad, but definitely not as good. But I guess it shows that when you really believe in something (like god/buddha, etc ..) it do come through. I know this sound kind of absurd, but sometimes things do occur that make you have to believe in it. I’m not a strong believer, but I try to heed advices and stuff. At least I have my mind cleared off something. Hmm, I guess another aspect would be kids really can cause change in the family. It’s just how you see it.

I’m mid way through the week already. These few days have been pretty occupied with things.

Monday:
We had practical shifted to the morning cause we needed people to fast for OGTT test. We did a measure of ketone bodies as well. That day was pretty messed up. Adhi got pricked twice cause of his blurness. AWFUL PAINFUL FINGER PRICK!!

Lunch break was pretty short cause we went to buy Subway! And the fact that Adhi and Syaz went to buy KFC. The queue there is super long and hence.. we only had about 10-15minutes to finish. Rewarded myself with Green Tea Cream from starbucks. Nomnomnom

Class started off with presentation about jaundice. It’s pretty interesting. But once in a while when I’m researching for information, it’s rather saddening to find stories about patients suffering and how the conditions have affected them.

This makes me really wonder.. How susceptible we are.

Second session of practical for Medical Microbiology. We were given three samples to do bacteria culture. I like doing striking! Always hope that I’ll have nice streaks.

Training in the evening with the Kili team!
We broke up into two groups and did stairs climbing.
A total of 300 storeys!
Not bad, Not bad at all.
First time I ever went for stairs training, cause on Mondays, I usually have Dip plus class.
Just so happened that we didn’t have class on that particular day.

A few of us went for dinner at Clementi and halfway, got a call from Mr Kwok saying that Jieying went missing >< Got so worried, so I asked Kaixiang to drive us back to school such that we can help Kwok search for her.

SP is pretty scary at night.. After we finish one round of searching (briefly), I got a call from Uncle Kwok saying that she’s back home already. THANK GOD!! Thought something might happen to her cause she left everything in school and it was two hours after she rushed off to meet her friend.

Tuesday:
Class started at 9am, AGAIN! Biostats in the morning. But its for the better good. At least I don’t have to stay back so late as till… 5pm on friday. Med micro case study and we LUNCH BREAK! We had a good three hour break.

We went FC4 to buy lunch. Been so long since I last went there/ta bao from there to eat. Had Mini wok ^^ nomnomnom.

Med micro practical after that. GOSH. I guess it was the most pek cek session that I ever went. Like seriously!! Shall not talk about it. Shall keep my fingers cross and pray hard that my bacteria are growing well. ^^ everything will go well!

Went chinatown after that with dear. Dinner was… super filling. I bought tim sum and he bought noodles, red bean pancake an char siew su. LIterally stuffed ourselves with food and ended it off with Lao Ban Dou Hua. Nomnom. It’s really damn nice.

And it’s a pretty interesting sight to see people buying dou hua in bulk. 10-15 boxes of it at one shot.

I really didn’t want to blog about the same issue over and over again, but I am once again so disturbed by it. Raging at it. (This word seem to he used quite frequently now. Hahahhas. )

Yesterday was the sharing session by our Kinabalu group. Come to think of it, I’ve sprained my ankle for about a month and it seems like its not really recovering well =x If I can make it up kilimanjaro, I guess Sundown Marathon won’t be a problem bahh. Just hope my ankle gonna recover soon. 

I’m gonna head out already.

Last time headache only visits me after i sail on saturday/sunday cause of the sun. Now its every other week. Guess its time for me to learn to sleep early already.

After so many things that i have learnt in class, when my body tells me stuff, i worry. Its not really a good thing . Cause some of the things i know what they are hinting at. Time to take some precaution against it.

A photo of lily! This one was the one we bought for Wanlin on her 18th birthday. Its nice. Whats the meaning behind it? Shall go search that later. Meanwhile.. I shall guess. Purity bah. Since its white.

Randonly thought of 出淤泥而不染. Used to describe the lotus flower that grows in the muddy areas. They dont get influenced by their environment and be who they are.

Thats something that is lacking in our society. Isnt it?? Many a times, we dont want to be ostracised, dont wanna be different from others and go with the flow. Thats when the true self get hiddens away. And may even get forgotten after sometime.

Seems like i have so many views these few days. Hahas. Oh wells. Busybusy day! School started at 8. Then lesson ended at 11. Lunch break. Pract. Seminar and slacking! Video recording. Then kili meeting. Napfa, gym and dinner. Shall start heading to gym more often. (in between classes – after i finish the drama i watching noe)

Well. The blog posts is a reminder to myself  that i need to know my limits and know when to stop. Cause today tried pushing myself and guess what happens?? Ankle becoming more worse.

Verdict!

My ankle brace is only useful in preventing sprains. Cause what it does is to restrict the movement. It does support the ankle to a certain extent. But not good.

So i guess i cant run until i visit the sinseh a few more times. Should i go back to the super ex yet effective one?? The ratio is like one to 4 can. Gosh. So irritating.

Dinner with the kili team was great !! Thinking what name should we get. Lalalalala~

Kai and i being biomed/ biomad student were suspecting that jeff has hyperthyroidism. Lol. Symptoms fit rather perfectly. Insomnia, high metabolism.

Sonething else to remind myself. Should stop myself from asking people to let me draw their blood. Hahahas. Gonna get the image of a vampire soon.
